Never Gave Up

I've struggled through thick I've fought through thin But during my heartache I never gave in I ignored the odds I sided with faith But it hasn't always Ended up that way I silenced the screams I welcomed the laughs Criticism is hurtful So I stuck to the facts I lost many loved ones But I never lost myself I kept on walking That path through hell I killed my demons But never sided with angels I welcomed the battles And pitied the Devil I stayed on my path Though at times I strayed And now I see the end With all the beautiful sun rays Many times I gave up But I didn't give in And I'll continue fighting Until the very end.
