I was once lost

I didn't care much about college

Until I started playing ball

I began to think about it a lot

Being able to make the varsity team really hit the spot

From bad to good, I never gave up

Practiced everyday, if there was none

I went out of my own way

Hit up the park

Until it was dark

Now I'm here in college

And playing ball here too

This is what happens

when I DON'T give up.
