Never Give Up Without a Fight

Constant tapping echoes through the night

In my head, the throbbing increases

Then I awake to a blinding light

That shatters into a thousand pieces

My heart pounds with incredible might

A thundering sound that never ceases

Struggling to breathe and suppress my fright,

I long to be one who sighs and releases

Now as these thoughts enhance my plight

I tremble again and my strength decreases

Remember; never give up without a fight

This is the cost to smooth out the creases.
