Never Gone

With every word, my mind is clearer. With every rhyme, the thoughts come nearer. We may feed on despair and agony, but there's no supply of apathy. Stories drone with no soon end, plays are drama; they're all pretend. Poems, however, they have heart, connecting with readers from the very start. Some plead old hat and we should quit, but they don't have God's permit to touch the hearts and souls of many; He blesses those with rhymes aplenty. It's in our blood and will strive on. Poetry. Never gone.
