Never A Happy Ending

My heart

it yearns for you and it longs for you

it beats for you and belongs to you

My brain

it betrays you not trusting you

but not only you not trusting me for you

My wants

they need you but cannot breathe you

they pull you but cannot stay you

My fix

is only you but the missing you

is my addiction to you

My future

may not entail you far or near you

but my hopes are flawed because it is you

My past

had not involved you but needed you

had not known qualities of you but learned with you

My present

is strengthened by you

is mended by you

My instinct

has been disbelieving you

has been warning me about you

My addiction

is still you and i bleed you

but its not you that i worry for you

Its me

i worry for you about being with you

forever promises is what i want with you

but that is too much to ask of you

as someone who bleeds and breathes only you

My resentment

is only me and never you

harsh on me but never you

My afraidness

is not from you

but because of you

My wishes

they never come true.
