Never Less

Yesterday, you came to mind.

Not sure why but I was flooded with memories and imagined dreams.

It lasted a lot longer than usual and I had to remind myself that I'm over you

and my circle of grief is smaller now.

Those first few weeks were the hardest.

Every thought always took me to you.

After three months I could finally go days without your lingering eyes.

And now, sometimes I don't think of you at all and I miss you less often.

But that will never mean I miss you less.
