Never Lets Me Go

When I failed, when I stumbled, when I put myself down, you never let me go. Even when my mistakes piled high, even when shame whispered lies in my ears, even when doubt screamed louder than faith, you never let me go. Your love is greater than all my insecurities, greater than my failures, my sins, my shame, my messes. It is relentless, unwavering, unstoppable, a love that sees my scars and holds them tenderly, a love that whispers, You are mine, and I will not leave you. It was Your love that propelled You to the cross, a love that bore the weight of every sin I could never carry. It was Your love that gave me new life, freedom where I was chained, light where I was lost and didn't know where to go, hope where I had none. Your love is beyond my comprehension, a love so fierce, so tender, so vast beyond measure, even in my darkest hours, even in my deepest pain, you never let me go. Because of this, because of all you have done, are doing, and will do, this will be my song of praise. I lift my hands, I lift my heart, I lift my life to you, my King, my Savior, my Rock, my Firm Foundation, and my Redeemer. Even when I cannot speak, even when words fail, even when tears may fall, my soul cries this truth: you are always good, you are always faithful, you are merciful, and you alone deserve all the honor, all the glory, and all the praise. You never let me go, not in my fears, not in my failures, not in my wandering, not in my weeping, not in the storms, not in the trials, and not even in the valleys deep, you have never let me go, and you never will.
