Never lonely

"At times I couldn't tell she was hurting. She would smile and laugh and make funny jokes. But when there was silence there was also emptiness. And it hurt. It hurt knowing that she could be there broken and I didn't even know. If I did, I know that I would've hugged her. I would've hugged her so tight and never let go. Because she was beautiful. But the mirror didn't tell her that when she looked back at it. And her having friends didn't change the fact that she was lonely. She was lonely and I knew it. There were nights that she would cry in her pillow, and so would I. I just wish I had every second available to tell her that she isn't alone. She was so beautiful, and she might have felt lonely. But she was never alone..."
