Never Lost
"She is the most important person in my life,
She has taught me more than I can share,
She is...
My nana
Without her,
I would have a hole in my heart,
That should linger with pain and sorrow.
There will come a day,
From this life she shall float away.
Until then I am complete.
My heart remains whole,
A complete soul.
When despair drifts my way,
When I feel incomplete without her,
I must remind myself:
Even though every living thing dies,
Her memory will live on within her friends and family;
The people that cherished her life on Earth,
In her life on earth, she cared for her loved ones.
Loved ones, that are left with the blessing,
Blessing, of knowing such an amazing person,
Amazing person, of whom I have the privilege of calling:
My Nana
Though there will come a time when
I will not be able to give her a hug,
Or play a game of rummy with her,
I will never truly be without her.
She will always remain within me,
Living in my memory.
She has changed me for the better;
Permanently;
Irreversibly;
She will never cease to exist in my heart,
Only from the physical body she now inhabits. "
