Never Me

You are a dog that needs training,

That’s what he thought of me.

News for him is that I am not is dog.

My emotions are not a chew toy that he can pick up and throw around.

My reactions to his manipulative and unloyal ways is not entertaining.

Because of the thoughts his actions have shoved into my brain,

I am no longer me.

Because of him,

I feel crazy,

No, I am crazy.

I don’t know if I will ever be the same.

I will never be me again.
