Never Meant To Be
The difference between you and me
is that we were never meant to be,
but you can't help
push that fact farther,
and I can't help
but try to be together forever.
Still,
we both know
that no matter how hard we try,
we still were never meant to be.
Now this is the time
to say goodbye/
It breaks my heart
to say adieu
but never forget
the three words that I always say to you,
for they are what I mean
So what I say is,
I love you.
