Never A Memory

No one will remember me

In the days, months, years to come

I am just a silent shadow

In the landscape beyond

No one will remember the girl walking along the silver pavement

Her outline just a blur

Her voice just the wind

Her words never were

I am a faceless face among the crowd

My name unknown

My purpose unclear

My hopes and dreams never heard

But yet I write these words on this page

Secretly hoping someone will recognize my words

Will remember my name

Because I wish someone would not forget
