Never Slows Down

Like dandelion fluff that’s been blown by the wind, it floats away never to return again. We expect it to be there, so we don’t always show how much we care. We hold back the words we would say if we knew it was all going to change, and we forget all that can happen in just one day It’s like the message written in the sand. Before it’s complete it’s washed away in utter defeat. It never slows down and it never seems to ensure what matters to you will always be around. It’s always here, yet always gone and like a night’s dream it doesn’t stay long I didn’t plan on you changing your mind, but I guess that’s why; like the dandelion fluff never to return and the dream that doesn’t stay for long, Time doesn’t always linger for us to understand what we have before it’s gone.
