Never Stop
I was running so fast
My arms pumping
my heart beating faster than my feet could ever travel
I’m going so fast
I can’t think about anything except moving
I don’t even know which direction I’m moving in anymore
I just have to keep running
Even as my legs tremble
And my breath rattles in and out
I can’t stop
I need this
So I don’t get the chance to think
I’m tired of thinking
I want everything to disappear for a while
And I want to forget who I am
No more:
Fear
Pain
Loss
Sadness
Uncertainty
Only this moment in which my mind, body and soul have one job:
Keep moving
