Never There

I felt the shadow

I saw the shadow

I was the shadow

It had become me,

I was held captive by my smile

Little did you know I wasn't there anymore

I was far away trapped in a dungen doomed to die

Wishing with all my heart that I could break away and fly

Fly home, to you, to my family but I couldn't.

Not yet. the wounds were still too deep

Too fresh,

they still bleed sometimes, you know

more often then I would ever care to admit

but I still want to come home, to actually smile,

not the fake ones that became my prison

I was there, but was I ever truely?

not anymore and though I may still laugh and talk

I'm not there anymore. it's a mirage, i swear

look closer,

the worlds greatest majic trick,

I Was Never There

TamingOfSeaWolves

Just your typical geek. If you care to look deeper though...You can see the layers I have created. The worlds I call my own live in my imagination. Creating riddles and poems and lives and characters to become and get lost in. No one knows me, or at least the me behind the blinds. PLEASE COMMENT instagram=tamingofseawolves
