Never Together (Fan)

I am too frightened to say this in real life

But, I think of you as being by my side

You are the first one I think of in the morning,

The last I think of before falling asleep

And I know we can never be

Because you are you

And I am me

We are destined to never meet

To always be apart

And I guess I will have to heal my own broken heart

Maybe, if I am rich someday,

We will meet

But only for a second,

Which raises the question

Is it worth it?

My broken heart will just break again

My life will feel incomplete again

I fear I will never truly be over you

I see you every where, especially now

Lonely me, Lonely you

Together we are two

But  I am me

And you are you

We are destined to be apart,

To never meet

Much to the pain of my broken heart
