neverland

i miss the gentle air that was

once wrapped around my waist.

i miss the softness i'd place

in my footprints with each step

i'd take. please, please tell me

where did that joy go that had

filled my eyes to the brim? is it

possible to bring back the sun

that my voice had bathed in?

tell me it's not too late. i want

to go back. let me grow back to

those times.
