Nevermore

I'm lifting away society's mask

That makes me do as they ask.

I'm setting myself free

let me be who I wish to be.

Nevermore shall I do as they say.

Never again will I conform to their way.

I'm going to let my thoughts flow

I'll let my very soul show.

Like a caterpiller to a butterfly

I'll grow my wings and learn to fly.

Nevermore shall I do as they say.

Never again will I conform to their way.

I'm repainting my life.

redrawing my every strife

Only I will know they're there.

They'll only see what I choose to bare.

Nevermore shall I do as they say.

Never again will I conform to their way.
