A New Acquaintance

I just met a spider

And his name is Snyder

He is building a web outside

That is very wide.

I watched him all night

His colors are very bright

He didn’t stop his climb

Till he heard a very loud chime.

If you make a spider mad

They will bite you, which is bad

Your arm may begin to swell

In agony you might let out a yell.

But spiders can also be helpful

By eating bugs by a mouthful

Their bodies have lots of hair

Just not fuzzy like a bear.
