Off on a new adventure.

Dear Mom and Dad.

Thanks for everything you've done for me.

Unfortunately I've got to go now.

My future's calling for me.

Hope I haven't missed the train.

Sure it's gonna be scary.

I might screw up, but hopefully not.

All the stuff you've taught me

Can hopefully bring me home.

It's not all sunshine and rainbows

It's gonna be hard I know.

But who says you can't stuggle

At something you enjoy.

I'm not afraid of debt

Of all the side jobs and the lot.

It'll be fun, I'll meet new people.

And learn how to roll with the punches.

So thank you Mom and Dad.

I'll see you in a bit.

I've got to forge a future.

It'll be something incredible.

The stories I'll tell.

Might startle and surprise.

But they're gonna be my experience.

And it will be something incredible.

Sincerely, Michael
