A New Armor for the Exterior, Brings Growth to the Interior.

To the naked eye her beauty does not come to the surface But to her her beauty is deep It’s easy to say that her face is chic But what about the rest of herself that she brings Her body is a temple A temple it is But who would believe that at the first glance? See her body was built on many humps and hills Underneath those lumps and humps Are sturdy structures that never seem to fail her Especially as she races down the hallway Her own personal hell Her beckoning call has no sweetness or sap “Hey fat bitch” Yeah she’s all that All day she’ll her the echos in her head As she sorts through what hurts her the most Fat she is But is that what they hate? Bitch she is not but is that what they think? She’ll toss her thoughts around all day coming to the conclusion that the world hates her more than it did yesterday To simply explain that the first thing she thought of being in life wasn’t fat Well call that absurd And if she could lose it all today She’d give it all up in exchange for her mind She has no safe haven She rushes to her bus at the end of the day Only to see The same guys The same seats The same grief One of them likes her She suffers for his feelings The constant whispers and giggles She hears her name Over and over To speak up...just to be shut down Forget it “fat bitch” Her only solace is her short walk home Where she tosses her thoughts around “I am hated for being created. I am hated for my exterior.” “No one dares to speak to me in a matter of respect because it was lost at the door. I am stuck in a world that will hate me…before I even speak?” You got it “fat bitch” Arriving home her heart sings as she opens the door The blue truck in the driveway is a dead giveaway that her father is home “Daddy!” She runs to him and gives him a great big hug He smiles down at her “How did I ever make such a pretty baby…” A kiss shower ensues She laughs as my heart swells Someone loves her too As the image in her head begins to fade She is awaken in the night by her reality Daddy Always telling her what she needed to hear Even in death our souls are still connected “If his love can reach me from above then it must be true.” I am still me But I have new armor Walking into school I strut my stuff “Hey Wassup…” “And don’t you dare call me a fat bitch!”
