New Awakenings

New awakenings every other day ,

how many times can you wake until you actually awake?

so many backs turned my way,

how many times can you regret one mistake ?

nightmears of smiles and laughter

day dreams of despire and disaster

and you long for balance

or someone that doesnt have betrayal etched down the passage of their throat .

contaminated lungs,

so every breath you take is never enough .

but. .

This is us . .

This is love. .

the only kind we ever knew

so even though we buy into their lies it never feels brand new . .
