New Beginning
Fear
Filled within their hearts
Individuality, discouraged by the Xeroxes
Adversity, scorned
Change, frightening
The Unique
With an appetite
For speech
For Identity
For Recognition
They Battle
For Liberty
For Justice
For Change
For “The People”
The Battle Won
For Love
Freedom
Equality
And Change
Fear, now Diminished
Understanding, now Welcome
Freedom, ensured
Civil Rights, Acquired
