A new beginning

1 Corinthians 9:8 

⁸ Am I saying these things only on the basis of common sense, or does the law not say this as well?

New 

Is it now a new beginning ... or an extension of the old?

Can it be changed ... or is it in an unchanging mold?

Am I captured by myself ... a prisoner of what I’ve chosen?

Do I read my rewards in time ... while I’m half-way dozing?

To be good would be uncommon ... for that’s not what I sowed.

Everyone seems to be reaping a lot more good than what I know.

Is it than a great marvel ... that a world so deprived shows good

Despite the powers of darkness ... that seldom are understood.
