A New Beginning From a Bad Ending
I don't really understand why bad things happen to the innocent.
May it be fate, a God has in mind, destiny.
I don't know.
You grow up in a world that is a mixture of beauty and love, as well as evil and hatred.
You learn to gaurd our heart, from people who's intentions are to only bring joy for a while and then leave.
A year has past of protecting my heart, making sure no one talk hold of it, breaking it.
Leaving me with nothing, but to trust in God to mend it again.
A eyar of beautiful beginnings, but lingering from past pains.
I swore to myself to never fall again, to for now on forever fight back.
A year of fighting back tears, negative thoughts, and self harm.
Thinking I wasn't good enough and never will be.
A year has past, and I found a new love.
Oh, how hard it is to transition from being so cold inside to a loving partner.
Only love and support has been given to me by this amazing brave man.
Who had committed to treat my heart the way it deserved to be.
I don't know how he can take such a remarkable task as that.
But, he did.
I have never been treated with such care, respect, and love.
May he be soul mate?
I don't know.
He may be someone God felt I deserved, but I'll leave to Him to decide who my soul mate is.
Deep down, I am still cold.
But, when I'm with him, it's as if I'm living in a fantasy land.
Fantasy lands can be dagerous, or so I've learned.
But this is different.
Can this all be a mistake?
I don't know, I'll leave it all to fate.
