New Beginnings

Let me tell you this

life is not easy.

One day you go from playing in the sandbox

to driving a car.

Hearing crazy stories from your grandparents about growing up.

To watching them grow old.

You begin to feel alone,

Worthless.

You have to pay for bills

pay for college and work countless hours a day.

Then you begin to realize its all worth it

You grow as a person

and you realize those stories they told you when you were a kid

They're all true.
