New Beginnings
Eat and sleep, all we did as babies,
unaware of the world, first words maybe.
As little kids we would spend time at play;
full of innocence, remember those days?
We soon become teens, hanging out with friends,
finding ourselves, it's all about the trends.
The first thought of the future comes to mind,
time passing quickly is what we come to find.
Going to college, you start a new stage,
no longer a kid, time to turn the page.
New journey to travel, fullfilling dreams,
the road ahead is not what it may seem.
Everyone together, the countdown singing,
cups we raise "here is to new beginnings."
