A New Day

Wake Up!! It's a new day.

It's time to get up and get back down on your knees and pray, 

Pray to God, thanking Him for starting you on your way,

Because it's a lot of people that didn't wake up today.

All of the killing and the stealing,

It could've been you. 

In the streets drug dealing,

No that's not cool.

You'd better be glad you're in school,

Instead of not knowing the color blue.

It's time to look at the positive things in life.

Instead of looking at bad things that cause pain and strife.

Stop feeling down and blue and fly high like a kite, 

And sieze every opportunity that comes in your sight.

Let the past be the past.

Lets start tomorrow in a good way,

Much better than the last.
