A New Day

I feel the sun on my skin,

I feel sorry for these sins,

I know the pain of yesterday,

This is the price that I must pay,

To remain in the grey.

The light is running out,

My heartbeat is slowing down.

Why must I be the worst of them all?

Why do I have to be the one to fall?

Please save me, I'm up against a wall.

But now the sun lights up the grey,

It's a new day.
