New Day

The heart will weep and sow as emotions play their game/

The bullying of the constant beating, makes the heart go insane/

Yet time will go on and the emotions will stop/

The heart will heal from the wounds but every so often have its own flops/

Life lessons to be learned and trials and tribulations/

The experiences that the heart goes through brings excitement to conversations/

What makes a heart weary is missing its companion/

The friend who stays by its side who helps the heart up when the heart can no longer stand it/

The soul is the mate that truly helps the heart heal/

To move along from the past and put the heart back on the playing field/

The soul knows its true that the heart shall repeat again what it has done/

Fall for another and have another experience for fun/

The soul will watch and wait and hope the heart will not fall again/

Although if the heart does fall, at least the heart knows it has a friend/
