New Education

For four long years
The students sit and stare
At the walls of the school
Asking why they are there

They sleep all day in class
Not an interest in learning
But who can blame them anyways
The repetition table keeps turning

Year after year
Classes remain the same
Reading, math, science
Again and again and again

The wasted time hurts
The repetition kills
They find relief in other things
Like drugs and popping pills

X and Y and Z and F
What's the actual use
They need to be taught REAL problems
Like racism, hunger, child abuse

They need to teach cults
They need to teach brutality
They need to teach scams
They need to teach reality

There's a reason students dread going to school
They feel that there's nothing taught
That when real life calls them to bring real skills to the table
There's nothing to be brought

The education system doesn't need a change
It needs a re-construction
It needs a new build from the ground up
A whole new introduction
