A New Education System

Talk, talk, talk

All they do is lecture

It makes me want to walk-

Away from this opportunity that’s so good

‘Cause I’m feeling the pressure

I know if I do I’ll end up in the hood

Living and barely making ends meet

I say let’s forget that noise

Graduating on time is quite a feat

With worries like school, home, work, and boys

The last thing we need is more we don’t understand

We all want to be successful

Working towards a goal of a house and a piece of land

The change we need and crave

A chance to ask more questions

With teachers helping along the path we pave

Take the time to listen to my suggestion

More time in class

Working with others for a new idea

Will make it easier to pass

With this we’ll make it to the arena

Walking across the stage

Happy and excited

To start the next chapter of life on a new page
