New Experience
They said that it would be the time of my life.
"Most fun I ever had."
They said a new place, a new perspective, would do me good.
"Just open your mind up to new things."
They said that time would heal all wounds.
"It shouldn't be too much longer now."
"So did you like your first year?" they ask.
They don't want the real answer.
Fine. It's always just fine.
What would they say if they really knew?
