A new her

Today she planted a seed

A little seed inside her

She showers it with hopes and dreams

Thoughts of imagination that somewhat spark

Ideas of purpose and new being

She looked in the mirror

Her hair combed straight down, cleansed face with no jewels to be seen

It was just her looking back at me

Tears flowed from her face

But they were not tears of sorrow but tears of rebirth.

A joy of a new tomorrow

A renewal and cleanse of the person she was

She promised me and to above that she is going to be different-

She said some more words that I have always heard but

This time it was new

She said them again and with a tear to seal the fate

She puts up her hair adds the jewels

Unlocks the cage and lets the prisoner out so that they may attend to the see.

And this day forward she knows that her and the seed are the only goals.
