A New Life

Day breaks. Fresh air.

Inhale. Exhale.

The world anew

Sunrise, sky blue

Wind blows, leaves rustle

Coffee brewing, daily hustle

Stuck in the lull of a daily routine

With some never changing scenery

Quick goodbyes out the door

But seemingly wanting something more

Taking blind steps on a guided path

Footprints laid out leading to death

Lie after lie the world seems to feed us

How can we live the truth, when the world has deceived us?

Constant suffication of societal pressure

Zero alleviation, ensuring us failure

Post after post. Tweet after tweet

Reaching out for approval of some expectation to meet

"You gotta look like this. You gotta act like that."

But this, is not a matter of fact.

You see the fact is

We.Are.Free.

But we leave the chains upon our feet

We're scared to seize amazing opportunity

Due to possible failure and humility

GO.

Go break the mold the world put you in

And set free, the spirit within

You see, we were created to do amazing things

All we have to do is simply believe
