A New Light

Once a life of loneliness and despair

Now one of love and hope

You taught me how to live

Taught me what my feelings were

You changed me, but in a good way

Pain and suffering no longer exist

Only excitement and joy

I see adventure in all and never stop dreaming

A life once surrounded by darkness is now one surrounded by light
