New Low

I can't count the times I've let you down.

It's been a while since I've seen you around

There's an x in the sky where your name should be.

But it's fading out.

I'm too blind to see,

that all you do is provide a new low.

But I've gotten used to it by now.

I'm used to asking questions like why, when, and how.

And now there's a hole where my heart should be.

Taking in deep breaths to feed this ecstasy.

We fell for eachother.

At least, from what I can tell.

But I bet it was hard for you to see from that high horse of yours.

You take people in and rip them apart without remorse.

I'm not going to be a buyer of what you sell anymore.

Your voice is like the sound of shattered glass on the floor.
