New me

I close my eye's and take a breathe. Knowing that i'll never know what is left. In the world to help me comprehend. All the pain that's in need to amend. Throughout all the pain that I have felt. I've become immune to what I've dealt. I've ran from my problems, I hid behind a mask. I fell behind with all of my tasks. I grew tired of my excuses, and all of the running. That now I'm standing ground , and confronting. I no longer grieve, and I no longer cry. Because it caused me to give up and no longer try. I'm ready to move on, and to take that first step. Away from my past with all this dept. I'm taking control, and I'm strong as ever. I'm always wearing a smile cause now I know better. So when we meet, it's obvious that you can see. Is that I've returned, and this is the new me
