New Moon

Out with the old in with the new,
this is a message directed to you.
My mind is set determined I'll be,
no more fretting across the sea.
The moon is gone but not for long.
Even though I'm not here,
doesn't mean you should fear.
I'll shine bright for you again,
but first I must dim.
