New Nation Same Problem

The only good reason for self deprecation is in changing one’s character for the good of the nation

The wicked seeds of the past are sown into the soil of the future

Tying us to evil,

Soiling our future

If we murder the thousands to feed millions

The corporation owners make billions

While the flaws with society rise to the trillions.

For every plant wasted, and every cow killed

For every ax that is dropped for the blood to be spilled

This is not feeding a nation

It is quieting the masses

They make us happy enough to collect our taxes

Is there a fix to all of this mess

Or is it given to the next generation and never put to rest
