A New Perspective

The world isn't about me

But sometimes it seems that way.

Everything's my point of view

Every single day.

Every smile or fear or heartache

That overrules my life

Doesn't touch the strangers

Who live the same as me.

Maybe all we need

Is time to be someone else.

Experience a perspective

Not found inside yourself.
