New Sounds, New Life

Silence

Quiet

Deaf

Watch a man

…

His mouth move

Unaware

White clean coat

Touching my head

…

Cold steel

Tubes, wires…sleep

…

Awake, cold

Head hurts like I have fallen

Man smiles

Mom smiles, Dad Cries

…

Click

…

BOOM!

BANG!

FEAR!

LOUD SOUNDS ECHO THROUGH MY HEAD!

WHAT HAS HAPPENED!

WHAT DID THEY DO!

…

Calm, learn, and understand

Cochlear

Sound, I hear rain for the first time

I cry

...

New Sounds

New Life
