A New Start

Walking onto my college campus during orientation

The atmosphere made me quite shaken,

There were thousands of people there

And I was all too scared to talk to anyone

Because life as I knew it was done

I was once again lonely, afraid, and lost

All these emotions were oozing from my heart

As I realized that life was forcing me to restart.
