new stranger
No matter how many hours i sleep
or how many hours i watch
or how many hours i cry
you’re always in the back of my mind
As i walk through the halls i’m in search for your familiar face
I strain to hear your soothing voice
memorizing every moment together
and when i sleep i seem to dream of you
but as my dreams turn to memories
and your photo burns to nothing
your number just a random sequence
you start to shrink, fade, die out of my mind
im searching for a new familiar face
a new soothing voice
a new memory
a new dream
Im in a need for a new stranger
