New World

Mass shootings occurring Kidnappers stirring Bombs exploding More guns reloading. A time of high crime Criminals at their prime. Where did things go wrong? When did fear grow so strong? Now a time of abduction, A world full of destruction, Atrocious behavior, Your neighbor a stranger. No white picket fences Humans losing their senses The “ideal American dream” Crumbling, not what it seems. Everyone cringing in fear, As they step into a premier. Parents creating a fuss, As their children ride the school bus. A world where what we need is absent Its time to do something different. Now something needs to be changed, Our priorities need to be rearranged. Our world must be recreated, Or it will remain ill fated.
