New World

A world once driven by its people and their will to overcome

this thing we call life

is now undone.

A world now driven by the need for the newest and greatest technology

when we already have it.

We have a brain.

Something given to us at birth,

a thing that's mandatory for us to use these gadgets

that are now controlling the earth.

These things we hold in our hands, hold more than what we know.

They hold our attention, our minds, and all these emotions we now don't show.

Instead of talking face-to-face, which has now become unfamiliar,

typing, sending, and posting is now our communication,

neglecting the ones who are near us.
