New Year

The new year eve is the time for a celebration This year though there are more reasons to do it The year that's about to go was no less memorable The world was forced to wage a battle against a virus That was all set to end the existence of humans From the face of earth by taking them in her deadly grip Scared and clueless all caged themselves in their homes Hugs n handshales became the biggest taboos Wearing mask n social distancing became a norm Millions died and those who survived lost their jobs Businesses shut down, shops n factories closed down To stay alive became an onerous task for one n all Some died cause of virus few died being scared of virus Thankfully we are still around waiting for the new year It's time to forget all bad things that happened Life is all about celebrating it in its myriad hues Let's rejoice even in our miseries cause good or bad It's still a gift from the one whose acts only He knows Remember, the end is often the beginning Of something truly great that's about to happen
