New Years

New year, nothing new
I haven’t changed
Neither have you
School’s still hell
Got new lies to tell
“I’m fine, just tired,”
Whoever made me should be fired

No resolutions
No point in trying
Just act okay
Don’t act like you’re dying
Nothing I can do to change
I’d be too tired anyway
Forever feeling all too strange
Hope tomorrow is a good day

All I accomplished this year
Is getting gayer, I fear
And depressed, of course
Though that’s clear

New year, nothing new
I haven’t changed
Neither have you
