To the one who loves her next...

These things may seem insignificant, but trust me, they aren't.

Scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast. No over easy runny eggs. She hates them. And it's gotta be that good sausage no cheap stuff. Let her make her own pancakes though, she claims no one can make them better including you, and she's right.

If you feel her pull you closer in the middle of the night, wrap your arms around her til the morning light, despite how uncomfortable you may be. Treat her like a queen.

Scratch her back with your fingernails, don't just rub it. She doesn't like fingertips, nails are her thing.

Hold her hand in the car and listen to the songs she sings to you, they mean something to her. She really is a great singer, and if she shows you her real singing voice then you mean something to her, but just give her time, it won't happen right away.

Listen to her tell her stories, especially about her dad. He was a great man, a better one than you'll ever be.

Take her to shoot guns, she's probably got a better shot than you and she will rub it in your face in the cutest way.

Appreciate those sleepy eyes in the morning, kiss her forehead, tell her she's beautiful and don't ever let her doubt it. And if you don't think that her in sweats and a sweatshirt is when she's most beautiful, then leave her. You don't deserve her.

Buy her flowers, lilies, the purple ones.

Her favorite candy is sour patch watermelon, soon it'll be your favorite too.

If you call her up one afternoon and she asks to just be left alone, don't take it personally she likes her own time and space. She needs it.

She won't fight for you, so don't be dumb and walk away during a fight, she won't chase after you bud.

Always take her side, chances are she's right.

She's stubborn though, just like her daddy, and you'll learn that it's one of the many qualities you'll love about her.

She's much more than a hookup, in fact it'll take awhile to get to the physical stage, she values herself and you should too. Just know the underwear you take off her, I bought and took off her too.

To the one who loves her next,

She was the best thing that ever happened to me. And logistics of it all were never on our side. Love her. Respect her. And always be loyal. She was the love of my life.

Ps. Take her snowshoeing, she's always wanted to go.
