The Next Big Step


As her last year of high school began Anxiety filled her heart Her future waited patiently for a plan Even though she was smart Procrastination was her best friend And she was diagnosed with senioritis She didn’t want it to come to an end But her grades were the highest She was afraid of moving on And terrified of what was next to come She let out a loud yawn, And was declared a lazy bum.
